News & Updates 📰

Spring is in the air, and The Hive has been anything but quiet! BedWars Duels has shaken up the competition, and one small alien cat has somehow stolen the hearts of the entire community... yes, we're talking about Glorp! Here's a roundup of everything you've missed since our last issue!

A Spring Eggs-travaganza 🌸

The egg hunt hopped its way onto The Hive earlier this month!

Twenty-four colourful eggs were hidden throughout the hub, with a special prize awaiting anyone sharp-eyed enough to find every last one.

Not completed the egg hunt yet? There's still time, but not much, so get cracking!

Kawaii x Gothic Ticket 🔥

A clash of aesthetics has arrived on The Hive! The Kawaii x Gothic Ticket brings together the sweetest pastels and the darkest edges in one cosmetic collection.

Pick it up for 1870 Minecoins to instantly unlock a bundle of themed cosmetics, and take on exclusive quests to earn bonus rewards, including special variants for the mount, pet, and hat.

It's only around for a limited time, so don't sleep on it! Full details are available on the support page.

BedWars: Duels ⚔️

It's BedWars, but this time it's personal! BedWars: Duels has arrived, pitting you head-to-head against a single opponent in the ultimate showdown. Protect your bed, outbuild, and outplay your rival to claim bragging rights!

Cosmic Clash has been vaulted to make way for the new mode, though it may make a return in some form down the line. Got ideas for what could make Duels truly unique? The team would love to hear them via the BedWars feedback form!

BedWars Balancing ⚖️

In addition to the all-new LTM, BedWars also received a mid-season patch. It's all about balance... and new challenges to sink your teeth into!

The Jet Booster has been adjusted following player feedback, with a higher price tag (9 emeralds, up from 6), a harder-hitting overheat explosion, and a reworked cool-down curve.

Six fresh season challenges have also arrived, from blowing up 500 blocks in Controlled Demolition to landing 200 projectile hits in Space Sniper. Don't forget, the Challenge Merchant's cosmetics disappear at the end of Season 4!

Latest from The Hive Store 🐣

Deep space, deep sea, and dark skies — the newest Hive Store cosmetics have something for every style! Have you checked out all of the latest offerings?

The Baby Chick pet has just hatched and is already causing trouble, and joining it from somewhere across the galaxy is Glorp, an alien cat with a taste for chaos and a habit of knocking things off tables.

The Shark Hat is on hand for those who prefer their hub presence a little more intimidating, the Ladybug Hub Mount brings spotted charm, and the Phantom Wings back bling drifts in for those with a taste for the dramatic. Head to the store to check them all out!

Free Boosts ⚡

Who doesn't love free stuff? A free XP Booster is now up for grabs every week in The Hive Store! Find it under the FREE tab, accessible with /store or the shopping cart in the hub.

Boosters refresh each Monday at midnight UTC, and you'll need to claim yours within the week as they don't carry over. Be sure to keep an eye out for more free goodies being added to the tab in the future!

Pet, redefined... ✨

Some said it couldn't be done. Others said it wasn't done. Both were kind of right.

Earlier this month, we introduced [placeholder], our most technically pending companion to date, and the natural evolution of the beloved Rock pet.

Visually, it existed. Texturally, it was getting somewhere. What it lacked in completion, it more than made up for in ambition.
